Drop your manuscript

• If your manuscript contains a table of contents, remove it before uploading. Sandrine. generates one automatically with the correct page numbers.
• Remove the title page, half-title, copyright and dedication if already typed — Sandrine. lays them out cleanly.
• No manual page numbers (“— 12 —”), no hard page breaks, no inline colors.
• For Sandrine to detect your chapters reliably, choose one of two options:
  • Simple — start every chapter title with the word Chapter (or Chapitre, Capítulo, Kapitel).
    Example: Chapter 1 — The Morning
  • Pro — apply Word's Heading 1 style to your chapter titles.
  Avoid bare 1. Title form alone: Sandrine may confuse it with a numbered list inside a chapter.

These points help Sandrine. read your book correctly. If something doesn't match, fix your file and re-upload — it takes two minutes.
